Headteacher - Performance Management
Complete an analysis of the evidence towards the completion of the previous years Headteacher performance management objectives and advise on future objectives.
Support the governors to: • Review performance against previous objectives • Make a judgement about overall performance • Agree objectives for the forthcoming year and how they will be monitored • Consider the professional development needs of the Headteacher Advise the appointed governors on the assessment of the overall performance of the Headteacher during the year. Headteacher performance management is a 3 hour process, including preparation, meetings and written summary of performance management objectives. Headteacher Performance Management (if the advisor is the LP for the school) - 3 hour process (3/4 hour with HT, 3/4 hour with governors, 1/2hr with HT and governors, 1 hour summary report) Headteacher Performance Management (if the advisor is not the LP for the school) - 5 1/2 hour process (2 hours preparation of data etc, 1 hour with HT, 1 hour with governors, 1/2 hour with HT and governors, 1 hour summary report) |
